NET Mind-Body

NET is a neuro-emotional stress reduction technique that works with the physiology of emotions and how they are stored in the body.  When we experience a trauma, the emotions, sensations, and reactions we had to that event get imprinted like a movie script.  When we remember the event or are in a similar situation later in life our body reacts to it as if it were still happening in the present day.   Put simply, we relive it either consciously or unconsciously in our everyday lives.  Freud called this Repetition Compulsion.  Essentially, NET facilitates the resolution of emotional stress by using muscle testing to see what needs to be resolved and what your mind & body are still holding on to based on your past experiences.

Here is an example:

Visualize a lemon, go ahead… try it! Now think about cutting into that lemon.  Smell the lemony scent and see the juices running down the sides of the lemon.  Now, squeeze some of the lemon juices into your mouth and take a big bite! Is your mouth watering? If you’re like most people, it is.  What you are experiencing is a physiological response to the memory of a lemon.  The body’s response to stress works in a similar way.

Now imagine, you are in a disagreement with your significant other or your boss.  How do you respond? What is the reaction in your body?..... Where else in your life have you responded that way? …. Or better yet, when was the first time you ever felt this way?  See? We hold on to everything!

NET is a process that can help clean up and correct these physiological responses so you no longer are reacting to stressful situations in the same way.  Once it is cleared out, the mind and body can function as is would have before the event occurred.

This process is also shown to be beneficial in correcting limiting beliefs about love, money, health & relationships.   Limiting beliefs are usually formed before the age of 5 when our brain is operating mostly on Theta brain waves and implicit memories are formed, meaning memories are formed by the way we feel in our daily environment.  If your parents taught you that “money doesn’t grow on trees” or “all men/women are evil and not to trust them” even though you know this isn’t true as an adult, you still feel it on a subconscious level.  This is why many people sabotage relationships, have failed attempts to lose weight, and save money excessively out of fear.
